For more than 10 years, Smartcar has been dedicated to doing the best in security and technology. To achieve this goal, we have branches throughout Brazil. Smartcar leads the global high-tech market in car security scanners and electronics.

Smartcar is a totally national organization, its production and development line is located in São Paulo - Capital, we now serve more than 500 monitoring and risk management companies, we have already started activities in some countries of South and Central America and Africa.

With innovative products and services, we have a talented team of professionals and an Engineering department able to meet the current requirements of the market, our director Eng. Introduction

Visa is the best cost and benefit possible. The fact that we manufacture the products, allows us the flexibility to adapt them to the specific need of each corporate client.

Our main objective is to protect the vehicles of indirect customers without denying the availability of use and the comfort of the owner and driver. Knowing that at certain times we rely on the operation of the vehicle, either in particular cases or for use at work.

For these reasons we worked during the period of development in a product that has as fundamental characteristics:
     1- Availability of use of the vehicle, providing equipment that will only lock the vehicle in case of emergency only, and ensure operation in severe conditions;
     2- consumption of the equipment in standby mode;
     3- custo do equipamento.

The previous items allow our equipment to be the highly indicated product for protection of vehicles, motorcycles, trucks, etc.

In addition to having other important characteristics such as: excellent reliability in the central locking system in cases of emergency, simplicity of installation, size, adaptation to variations of voltage and current (motorcycle), vibration, connectors, spare battery, voice siren, radiant system etc.

History

The company is located in the city of São Paulo - Capital, Vila Carrão, and has as main services: Electrical / Electronic Engineering, not limited to the development and assembly of systems, circuits and softwares Manufacture, commercialization, installation and monitoring of electronic equipment residential, industrial and automotive. Personal and vehicular electronic security and tracking.

    The owner of the company started his business through a personal need because he is a motorcycle lover and was already working in the information technology market. Nowadays it is almost impossible to get motorcycle insurance due to the high cost that some insurers offer and others do not even have this type of service.

     Thinking about it, the owner of the company (Engineer Marcos Riolo) began in 2001 to develop equipment - initially a simple alarm - for his own safety.

     After several tests and revisions, he was able to develop an equipment that, in addition to a motion sensor alarm, also blocked and tracked his bike (via satellite and cell phone signal), and the best thing was that he could see exactly where she was, through the Internet, his own residence or any other place.

   The biggest difficulty was in relation to the competition, since at the time the company started marketing to the final customer, there were already companies operating in the market. With higher prices than the Smart Car (since they did not manufacture their own equipment), these companies managed to hold a good part of the automobile market, since customers believed that their equipment was of better quality, because they were more expensive. But after some partnerships and distribution of the equipment, the company obtained better results, as it was known to have a product of excellent quality and low cost.

   The company began activities focused on the final customer, but identified that the need of the market was focused on the industrialization of the equipment, which is why it stopped marketing to the final customer and started to supply only to the companies that resell to the final consumer.
